World Cup Cricket
Sensational win for Australia against South Africa in the World Cup. Glad Smith got that penalty 5 runs for tonking the helmet, but also extremely glad that Haydn caps his one day career with the fastest century in the history of the Cup.
A long wait till the next Australian match (and longer still till the next challenge of a match) but hopefully between now and then, we'll all have more information about the murder of Pakistan coach, Bob Woolmer, now thought to be motivated by Woolmer's intention to name match-fixers. Either way, the reputation of cricket has now been besmirched forever.

Not such a long wait for more Aussie cricket...tho the "challenge" aspect is true.
The schedule looks like this for Australia, assuming Bangladesh beat Bermuda (otherwise, swap them for India).
Tue 27 Mar Ireland vs Australia
Sat 31 Mar Australia vs Bangladesh
Sun 08 Apr Australia vs England
Fri 13 Apr Australia vs West Indies
Mon 16 Apr Australia vs Sri Lanka
Fri 20 Apr Australia vs New Zealand
Top four teams from the Super 8 section go into the semis: 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3 - winners into the Final. This is where your current NRR and points come in handy, cos you will take them into the Super 8s.
The current super8 standings:
1 - Sri Lanka(B1) 3.49(NRR) 6pts
2 - Australia(A1) 3.43(NRR) 6pts
3 - New Zealand(C1) 2.14(NRR) 6pts
4 - West Indies(D1) 0.76(NRR) 6pts
5 - South Africa(A2) 2.40(NRR) 4pts
6 - England(C2) 0.42(NRR) 4pts
7 - Bangladesh(B2) -2.00(NRR) 4pts*
8 - Ireland(D2) -0.09(NRR) 3pts
*Assuming Bermuda don't cause an upset and beat Bangladesh.
