Still on the cricket...

I have gone in to neural shock. I will be out of action until I understand what has happened at the Sydney Cricket Ground today.

Hopefully this will finally wake the ACB up and show them that the ODI tournament needs a major overhaul. Taking nothing away from England, I just find it hard to believe that Australia can play 8 games, win 7 of them, with 31 points (including 3 bonus points) and England play 8 games and win 3 (with 13 points and 1 bonus point) and then go into "win" the series.

Why not just skip straight to the finals then?

The 12(+2 or 3)-game ODI tournament is too long, and too late in the season. I had hoped this would be changed now, but it would appear that the messing around with India next season sees the CB Cup played in February/March next year!
