I'm putting my birthday present order in early: laser keyboard
I gotta get me one of these. No more worries about keeping my cups of tea a good two feet from my workspace. And sticky fingers won't matter - just gotta keep the kitchen spray handy for desktop cleanups every day!

I think typing directly on a hard surface like that might not be the best thing. When you press a normal key on a key, it gives and decelerates - but with a hard surface, its a dead stop.
I'd suspect that hundreds/thousands of tiny jarring impacts like that in a day will have a negative effect on your upper shoulders/neck.

Good point qwijibo. And a bad (or more accurately, a *worse*) neck is probably the last thing I need!
