Simple pleasures
I just have to say it - it is an absolutely *stunning* day in Brisbane today. Cool breeze off the river, low humidity and 28 degrees. Wow.

While you are extolling the virtues of Brisbane, bear in mind the sick comments from your Premier regarding the Melbourne storm. Only Channel 10 carried the pathetic attempted humour - prefacing the item with the remark that this is pretty sick humour. He joked about the storm and the Yarra, whilst down here we had thousands of people without power, homes damaged severely, one boy lost in the waters, and problems everywhere. Very wisely, Channels 9 and 7 chose to ignore him while the rest of us treat him with disdain.
